MARI TREVERTON
Owner/Lead Instructor
Mari is the wife of a firefighter/paramedic snd a mother to 3. She has over 16 years of experience working with children- including 6 years as a PE teacher with the St Lucie County School District. She has a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and is CPR/First Aid certified.

A native to South Florida, Mari, was shocked by the lack of survival swim schools when her and her husband moved their family to the Hernando area. With drowning being the number one cause of death in children aged 1-4 years old in Florida, Mari made it her mission to help as many families as possible prevent future tragedies. Her and her husband relocated their family for 2 months so Mari could get trained and certified by one of the best instructors in Florida.

Mari has over 200 hours of hands on training and has taught dozens of children, ages 9 months and older, how to swim and float. Her gentle approach not only teaches your child life saving skills but also helps your child build confidence and become comfortable in the water. Contact Tiny Fins Aquatic Academy to schedule one-on-one lessons that are customized to your child's individual needs.
